Lesson: The Three Rs of Choice

Today our Relief Society was combined with the 19th Ward Relief Society.

We were privileged to be taught by a sister from the 19th Ward Relief Society (I'm sorry but I unfortunately can not remember her name).  The lesson was based off of President Monson's talk during the Priesthood Session of Conference entitled "The Three Rs of Choice".  We discussed and listed what President Monson describes as the RIGHT of choice, the RESPONSIBILITY of choice, and the RESULTS of choice.  Many sisters shared experiences and things they have learned about our God given gift of Agency.  We learned the importance of making choices that will help us come closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.  Through agency and listening closely to the Spirit, we can prepare for the consequences of those choices.


I am grateful that we have the ability and opportunity to make choices.  The Lord will not force us to do anything, but through the spirit he will help us, warn us and direct us on the path back to him if we but listen and do his will.
